tool which keeps an eye on all essential services
across your server(s). The monitoring tool sends a
56 byte packet to specific ports (80 for HTTP) every
minute of everyday, 365 days per year. If the port
is ping-able and responsive, then the service is
available. Otherwise, the program assumes this
service is down and notifies us right away. |
